When I met Eliana, she weighed almost 11 pounds, but she felt so tiny in my arms! It's amazing how quickly we forget the feeling of our own newborn little ones in our arms. It's something I wish I could re-experience every day of my life. I remember when my daughter was born, she weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces. Almost all of the nurses and the doctor commented on on how she was such a big baby. But compared to my toddler, who weighed over 30 pounds at the time, she felt weightless in my arms. It's so funny because that is probably my most vivid memory of her as a newborn. Even the little babies that come to me for a newborn session feel so tiny and fragile compared to my rambunctious toddler and preschooler. I know it's cliche, but it's crazy how fast they grow up!
Anyway, introducing Eliana!
