Family
A Family Session is a great way to document your growing family or your grown family! I have a passion for capturing real and genuine moments between families. I am always looking for the little imperfections, the things that make your family unique and real. I absolutely love crazy toddler hair, energetic kids, and families that don’t put too much pressure on “standing still and saying cheese”. Your family session will be full of fun, games, love, and absolute chaos (in a good way). I take a relaxed and patient approach to my posing and allow the kids to get as involved as possible. I never force a child to do a pose they don’t want to do, and going with the flow is what I do best! Each session includes an outdoor location of your choice.
what can I expect when booking my family portrait session?
From the minute you contact me, I am learning about your family. A detailed questionnaire is sent out for more information on what makes you all a family.
I am an open book as far as outfit coordination goes! One of my favorite parts of any session is choosing the outfits.
On the day of the session, I will take time beforehand to make sure all children are comfortable with me and ready to rock and roll. This is an essential part to capturing those raw and special connections.
Your session will include a mixture of posed and candid photographs and multiple pairings between family members.
A completed online gallery will be sent within 3 weeks of your session with all photos that turned out.
From there, you select your favorites and they are sent to your email to be downloaded.
A print release will be included for those who wish to print outside of my own print shop.
I am willing to travel! I photograph of course anywhere in the Dekalb, Sycamore IL area but also love to travel to Geneva, Batavia, Naperville, St. Charles, or even as far as Chicago. This is not limited to outdoor sessions.
