Hey everyone! I have a beautiful newborn baby boy to share with you today! Eli was 19 days old when we did his session and he was an absolute dream! Although it is recommended that you schedule your newborn session within the first 2 weeks of life, Eli slept like no other baby I've seen. Most babies become more awake after a couple weeks, which makes it hard to get those squishy sleeping baby photos all of us want to see, but Eli had no problem at all and made my job quite easy! My assistant and I photographed Eli and his family in his home. I love doing in-home sessions because it makes the parents and siblings feel much more at ease. This is especially good if you have young children because I know how hard it is to entertain them at someone else's house! Eli's parents and brother were able to relax while they patiently awaited their turn to be photographed with this sweet boy. Here in this blog post you will see some of my favorite shots from my afternoon with the Vaughns.
I love the colors Eli's mom chose for his session!
While some people may think this pose looks uncomfortable, a lot of babies are the most comfortable being photographed in this pose because this is the way they were curled up in their mommas! Newborns are extremely flexible!
This is one of my absolute favorites! I actually made this outfit for Eli's session and I love how it turned out! I try to make all of my outfits for my photoshoots because 1) it saves money, and 2) I can customize them to look however I want!
